With over 25 years of combined recruiting experience, co-owners Dan Farina and Gina Cicconetti created PSS RECRUITING with the belief there was a better way to help clients fill their hiring needs with qualified employees. As innovative and forward-thinking individuals, they take a process-oriented approach in order to provide top talent to their customers. The initial step in this process is to understand the clients’ needs and company culture in order to lay the foundation for a long-term relationship. Working with honesty and integrity, they realize placing experienced individuals that bring success to the customer is more important than just filling an open position. Dan and Gina are committed to providing value-added services to their clients, their candidates, and their company.

Dan Farina


Dan Farina founded Permanent Solution Staffing with his business partners in 2007 after spending the first 11 years of his career with Avery Dennison. During his time at Avery Dennison, Dan was an extremely decorated Sales Executive that was promoted into larger opportunities within the company’s Marketing and Innovation Functions towards the second half of his tenure. After 5 years of focus on building the Permanent Solution Staffing brand, Dan felt that there was definitely a need for the company to offer Executive Recruiting Services to an already robust customer base. In 2012, PSS Recruiting was created to be a stand-alone business that could not only assist the company’s growing NE Ohio customer base, but also similar companies across North America. Dan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Youngstown State University and an International MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College.

Jeff Smith

Director of Recruiting


Jeff Smith joined the PSS family in 2011 as a Staffing Professional, transitioned into an Executive Recruiter and was recently promoted to the Director of Recruiting. He is a dedicated individual that takes pride in his attention to detail and his ability to provide a comprehensive experience for each and every customer and candidate engagement. Upon graduation, Jeff received an opportunity within the Event Marketing/Management industry where he spent a year and a half managing and staffing promotional events for Fortune 500 organizations. After a successful run in event management, Jeff decided to pursue an opportunity in Recruiting. He is a 2010 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Finance.

Amy Coad

Business Development Manager


Amy Coad is the Business Development Manager at PSS RECRUITING, with responsibility for marketing programs and partnering with clients in various industries throughout the United States. Prior to joining PSS RECRUITING, Amy worked in pharmaceutical sales for Novartis Pharmaceuticals. With her strong analytical and clinical background, she achieved success in the pharmaceutical industry and enjoyed building rapport with her customers. Amy has been recognized within Novartis for Teamwork and Collaboration, High Performance, and Customer Focus. She thrives on challenges and takes pleasure in delivering results for her customers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Reuben Hall

Executive Recruiter


Reuben Hall joined the PSS family in 2016 as an Executive Recruiter. Upon graduation, Reuben received an opportunity in the Sports Industry where he spent a year and a half as the Director of Youth Sports camps around the Cleveland/Akron area. He then transitioned into the insurance industry handling commercial risks and claims, providing him with a strong understanding on the corporate side, as well as the agency side. During his time as a Project Manager for MC Sign Company, he gained experience working with manufacturers on large projects for clients. Reuben has been exposed to many different fields, however interacting with clients and working as a team has remained a constant. He is a 2010 graduate of Baldwin Wallace University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Sport Management.

Michelle Conforte

Michelle Conforte was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Dayton.  After living in Florida for the past 20 years, she is glad to be back in the great state of Ohio.  She grew up in the manufacturing industry and is now challenged with putting her work and experience in action at PSS RECRUITING.  In seeing the ins and outs of the business, she understands the importance of matching talent with opportunity.  She takes pride in being ethical and doing what is right for both the customer and the candidate.  Working with others and providing great customer service is a true passion of hers, which she gets to fulfill every day at PSS RECRUITING.
